Project introduction:

BAIC Guangzhou Automotive Co., Ltd was inaugurated on June 22, 2011, and was completed in December 2013, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan. It has a designed production capacity of 300,000 vehicles per year, mainly producing BAIC Group's own brand SUVs and MPVs, and other passenger car products. In accordance with the overall planning of the factory construction, to achieve a future production line that is efficient and produces high-quality vehicles, BAIC Guangzhou has established a comprehensive and precise Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for the factory. The ultimate goal is to achieve the coordinated operation of production control, MES, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, forming a complete enterprise information system that can guide the company to maintain long-term business benefits and value. The MES system project was successfully launched for trial operation in June 2014, with functional coverage including order management, production management, quality management, material management, AVI, PMC, ANDON, and RC, CCR, supporting multi-platform and multi-model mixed-line production, effectively supporting production.

After the capacity increase in 2014, BAIC implemented the WMS system for effective management of warehousing and material distribution.
